What We Build
LLCSI operates as two connected parts of one company. We design, engineer, and run our own software products, and we build custom operational systems for businesses whose workflows generic software cannot serve well.
The two inform each other. Running a product means living with the consequences of architectural decisions — support, migrations, updates, and the questions users ask a year later. That experience shapes how we approach custom systems, and the range of operational problems we see in custom work shapes what we choose to build as products.

Why Operational Software
The software a company shows its customers is usually not the software that determines how well it runs. That is decided by the internal systems: how products and inventory are tracked, how orders move, how approvals happen, how data gets from one service to another, and how quickly someone can answer a question about the current state of the business.
These systems are where inefficiency accumulates quietly. A workaround that takes twenty minutes a day does not feel like a problem, but it is one — and it produces no record, no validation, and no way to detect when it was skipped.

Understand before building

Make ownership explicit
Decide which system owns each record and what happens when two systems disagree. Deferring this decision is how synchronization becomes guesswork.
Protect sensitive systems
Keep credentials, privileged operations, and private business data behind boundaries that a client application cannot cross.
Design for real operating conditions
Expired authorization, rate limits, partial responses, duplicate events, and network failures are normal conditions, not edge cases.

Products by LLCSI
SellerHint is a native macOS application for professional eBay sellers, currently in active development. It is the first product presented under the LLCSI portfolio, and the engineering case study describes how it was designed rather than what it has achieved — because it has not been publicly released.
Additional products are in development. New products will be added to the portfolio when they are ready to be presented publicly, not before.
